Osprey Publishing, a publisher known for their model-agnostic games such as Frostgrave, Gaslands, and others, is coming out with a re-release for Gaslands, their take on a post-apocalyptic car-driven wargame. It’s called Gaslands: Refueled, and it’s slated to come out in book form in the next five days, on September 19th, 2019. According to Gaslands.com, the website […]
Just when you think the Annecy Intl. Animation Festival is done with breaking news and teasing previews (after what has already proven to be a pretty big year for news), Netflix and DreamWorks Animation are building off their earlier Jurassic World spinoff series announcement with a run at the Fast & Furious franchise with animated […]

Welcome back to Bleeding Cool‘s weekly review of FXX‘s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, as we offer up our thoughts on the fifth […]
How many of you really liked the movie Cars? What about the sequel? If you’re a big Disney nut like me, you’re well aware of the Cars themed area inside Disney’s California Adventure. If you’re not, yes, there is an entire section of a theme park dedicated to that specific movie. To be fair, A […]
Discovery Channel released its fall slate of programming with a number of new and returning series, documentaries and specials, and the return of an iconic game shows. One of the biggest additions to their fall schedule is the returning game show Cash Cab, with host Ben Bailey back in the driver’s seat — but with […]
Entertainment Weekly reports that a certain infamous car (which, ironically is very boring to look at when not on national television) will be returning to the medium that made it famous. That’s right, OJ Simpson‘s White Bronco will be featured on the History Channel’s Pawn Stars in an episode to be aired on August 14th. The car’s current […]
So at this point Cars has been one of the cash cows for Pixar and for parent company Disney. It’s ironic given that of all of the Pixar entries, Cars isn’t really among it’s best works (you’ll have to go back to Up, WALL-E, and Toy Story for the real gems). To that end, Cars 3 […]
Funko news pours out of everywhere all the time, and today it is about their line of Pops to support the upcoming Pixar film Cars 3. What is news about these: there will be a Meijer exclusive version of Lightning McQueen released, this one in Gray. Meijer is a Walmart-esque store chain in the Midwest […]
The common consensus is that the Pixar’s Cars series isn’t their best but they need a series to sell toys and if Cars 2 got us The Incredibles 2 then it seems like a fair trade. The promotional material for Cars 3 is teasing a very different movie. The idea of a horrific crash, or […]
Disney/Pixar have released a new trailer for talking automobiles film, Cars 3. Starting off with the same darker look as the teaser from a little while back, the tone then lightens up, a smidge, and teases out some new characters to the series and gives us a little more on the premise and hook of […]
We are expecting a full Cars 3 trailer very soon. Thus far everything around the film has looked a little harrowing, with the announcement video showing a horrific crash. That being said, I don’t expect this will be the ‘dark gritty’ cars installment. In fact, these new promos seems to be more in line with […]
The first teaser for Cars 3 was pretty harrowing. No fun animated faces. Just a pretty awful looking crash with no real hint at story. Well, it seems we have a better look at what is going on in the next film next week. As caught by Youtuber RCcars5, ESPN have confirmed they are set to […]
Disney / Pixar today dropped the first official teaser trailer for next Summer's release of Cars 3, and it's definitely got a different vibe of any other Cars trailer that we've seen in the past. The guess would be that it's just setting up the basic idea of what might happen in the story, but then the actual film will handle it along the lines of the light-hearted fare we're used to in the series. For NASCAR fans, seeing the image of Lightning McQueen in an uncontrolled crashing roll would probably have the same impact as the opening sequence in Up! (emotions and tears). While Pixar has long been good at playing with the heartstrings, we're not sure if they're up to a film with this level of grit.
From what I understand, the Monster Hunter series is unbelievably popular in Japan. The country’s preference for handheld gaming is a huge part of this, but it’s a cultural milestone in the East, like it just isn’t in the West. Interestingly, it seems big enough to maybe even sell cars. This new ad for the […]
The folks at Big Bee Studios may have a little too much free time… and we get to benefit as they put together this fake trailer for April Fool’s Day meshing Disney’s Star Wars franchise with the Pixar animation line of Cars and Planes…

No, it’s not a Pixar movie. It’s Disney. I know a lot of people find it a bit confusing. Cars is Rich’s favourite Pixar film. I prefer Cars 2. Last summer saw the release of Planes, and while it was obviously aimed at the knee-high, I still had a good enough time. The sequel, Fire […]
By Michele Brittany, a West Coast Bleeding Cool Correspondent I love cars, so I was excited to see the cars exhibit on the convention center’s promenade had returned for the Long Beach Comic Expo on Saturday, May 31. Several cars were already set up an hour prior to the expo opening, including the tour park […]
This is going to make a lot of people very happy.
Anthony Edwards and Val Kilmer reprise their Top Gun roles. Sort of.
