"Mulan": 3 New Posters and a New TV Spot as Tickets Go On Sale

The Disney remake engine continues to roll and we can't really blame them after 2019. While Dumbo failed to connect with critics and audiences both Aladdin and The Lion King did extremely well at the box office and helped give Disney that huge box office that they had last year. They are looking to repeat that success this year but this year they only have one remake compared to last year. That being said the one they have this year is a massive remake of Mulan with a budget estimated at $200 million which is huge. Disney has spent the better part of the beginning of the year promoting this movie and now tickets are officially on sale.

Now that tickets for Mulan are out there it's time to release a bunch of new posters including ones from Dolby Cinemas, IMAX, and ReadD 3D. The posters for this movie, in general, have been very good and these three are no different.

Finally, we have another new TV spot and this one has a ton of action. After the behind-the-scenes featurette, we saw yesterday the action is something we're really looking forward to in this movie.

When the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders, Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. Masquerading as a man, Hua Jun, she is tested every step of the way and must harness her inner-strength and embrace her true potential. It is an epic journey that will transform her into an honored warrior and earn her the respect of a grateful nation…and a proud father

Mulan, directed by Niki Caro, stars Liu Yifei, Donnie Yen, Jet Li, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Yoson An, Xana Tang, Jason Scott Lee, and Ron Yuan. It will be released on March 27th, 2020.
