Activison isn't taking the latest Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare leak lightly as the company has filed a DMCA against Reddit over the situation. The Hollywood Reporter picked up the filing, in which the company is calling on the social discussion site to "identify alleged infringers" who posted the leaked content about their upcoming battle royal mode, Warzone. Here's a snippet from the court filing from THR.

"Reddit is the service provider to which the subject of the subpoena-Reddit user 'Assyrian2410' – posted infringing Activision content," the filing, submitted Feb. 14 in California's Northern District Court, reads. "The Content infringes Activision's exclusive rights under copyright law. Specifically, it infringes Activision's rights in its popular video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare."
Neither Reddit or Activision has commented on the situation since the filing. Best guess at the moment is that Reddit is probably going to protect its users until the point where its no longer cost-effective to do so. Because whether you like it or not, the leaker either probably broke some kind of embargo or hacked to get the information. And either way, Activision has the right to seek out that individual. We'll keep an eye on the situation and see how it develops.
