"This Is Us" Season 4 "A Hell of a Week: Part Two": Can Kevin Still Be "That Guy" for Randall? [PREVIEW]

Series creator Dan Fogelman promised viewers a season of NBC's This Is Us unlike any they've seen before, and Bleeding Cool's been doing its part to be your tour guide through a good chunk of the fourth season universe – one that's now been blown wide open with new faces and possibilities. Which brings us to this week's episode "A Hell of a Week: Part Two" – both a "sequel" to last week's episode as well as the third chapter in "The Big Three Trilogy"

But with Randall (Sterling K. Brown) at his lowest and in need of his brother, can Kevin (Justin Hartley) still be "that guy" for him?

"This Is Us" season 4, episode 12 "A Hell of a Week: Part Two": Kevin revisits his past and questions his future.

In addition, it was announced during the Television Critics Association (TCA) winter press event that Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill, Chicago P.D.) and Pamela Adlon (Better Things) will guest star later this season. Fogelman was hesitant to offer too much about either character – though he did have this to regarding Adlon's role in an upcoming Randall (Sterling K. Brown) storyline: "Sterling has an unbelievable arc in the back half of the season, and she plays an important role in the story."

Everyone has a family. And every family has a story. "This Is Us" chronicles the Pearson family across the decades: from Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) as young parents in the 1980s to their 37-year-old kids Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) searching for love and fulfillment in the present day.

This grounded, life-affirming dramedy reveals how the tiniest events in our lives impact who we become, and how the connections we share with each other can transcend time, distance and even death. From the writer and directors of "Crazy, Stupid, Love." comes a smart, modern show that will welcome you into a family you feel you've known for years. Chris Sullivan and Susan Kelechi Watson also star.
