"Gwent" Kicks Off Its Own Lunar Event With New Content

It's been a minute since we've heard anything big coming from Gwent, but CD Projekt Red has launched a new Lunar New Year event in the game. Those of you looking to get your Witcher on in any way possible will be delighted to see a new batch of content and challenges running from today until February 7th. Along with a special game board and cards, there's a bundle you can snag as well as a special Lunar sale happening for the next few weeks. Check it out before it leaves Gwent in a couple of weeks.

The Lunar New Year Festival, which begins today and will run until February 7th, gives players the chance to earn Red Envelopes by winning matches. Each Red Envelope contains a selection of in-game gifts, including a cardback, borders, portraits, a player title, and resources — Ore, Scraps and Meteorite Powder. In addition, the in-game store will be updated with lunar new year-themed items. These include the ornament-rich Lunar New Year Bundle, Lunar Game Board, and Prosperity Pack — which includes 25 Ultimate Premium Kegs, a Premium Legendary Card, and Meteorite Powder. Players can purchase these items until February 7th, noon CET.
