Disney Is Selling Mobile Game Developer FoxNext Off To Scopely

After months of speculation as to what Disney was going to do with FoxNext, we now know the company is going to be sold off to Scopely. The word came down this morning as they will also acquire Cold Iron Studios in San Jose from them as well. As the company continues to purge all mentions of FOX from their current properties, word came down in Q4 of 2019 that they were looking to part ways with the mobile developer. Which is insane seeing how popular Marvel Strike Force is. Here's what all parties involved had to say about the sale.

Upon completion of the transaction, Loeb will join Scopely in a newly created executive role and Rahimi will lead the FoxNext Games Los Angeles studio within Scopely as President, Games.
