E4 Gets UK Rights to Harley Quinn As Well

Bleeding Cool scooped the world earlier today with the news that Batwoman would be coming to E4 in the UK, and now Channel 4 has sent out the PR making it all official. But not only that, they'll be adding the adult-animated series Harley Quinn from Warner Bros and the new season 14 of Supernatural as well, exclusive in the UK to E4, and will follow with the final season 15.

Harley Quinn is an adult animated television series based on the Harley Quinn character created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, and based on the word of Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti. It premiered on November 29th, 2019 on DC Universe in the US, and will initially consist of 13 episodes. The series is written and executive produced by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey and follows the misadventures of Harley Quinn and her best friend and partner in crime, Poison Ivy, after leaving her ex-boyfriend the Joker. The series follows Harley Quinn's adventures after she breaks up with the Joker, including receiving help from Poison Ivy and others to become a member of the Legion of Doom.

Karl Warner, Controller of E4 said: "At its best, E4 stands for brilliant action-packed entertainment, so kick starting the year is a groundbreaking new series of Batwoman followed by Harley Quinn, another brilliantly funny animation series that will build on the big success we've had with Rick and Morty."
