It’s time to go to Japan. You’ve waited all your life to do it, and now you just need to make it happen. Why? Oh, no big reason. Just the grand opening of Super Nintendo World, a little thing like that. Uh, yeah. You read that right. It’s coming this summer to Osaka!

Thanks to a special press-oriented event held in Japan this evening (around noon in Japan), we now have several additional details about what to expect from the new park, which is the first of its kind. The first worldwide location will be opening in Japan this summer, and it looks like a ton of fun.

Super Nintendo World, according to Bloomberg reporter Kurumi Mori (who kindly translated all of this information), will feature a sprawling, interactive world that works together with a series of “Power Up Bands” emblazoned with special Nintendo characters. These bands will sync with a smartphone app to help track visitors’ activities as they explore.

You can grab a mobile app to help keep track of what you discover during your time in the park. You get your own custom profile and you’ll be able to collect achievements as well as coins with it, but Nintendo didn’t yet divulge what you can do with said coins. All we know for sure is that it’s probably going to be awesome and involve some fun prizes. Oh, and there’s also going to be a real-life Mario Kart attraction.

Nintendo also debuted a special Super Nintendo World music video featuring Galantis and Charli XCX as well. The new song “We Are Born To Play” is a fun, uplifting EDM song accompanied by Nintendo-centric visuals and mockups of the park.
