DC Comics Wants to Leave Burbank for Gemworld After Reading Amethyst #1 Preview

DC Comics has released a preview of Amethyst #1, the first issue of a new Wonder Comics mini-series spinning out of Young Justice this February by Amy Reeder. And the publisher was so enthralled with the preview that they have apparently considered relocating their Burbank offices, at least according to the press release on DCComics.com:

What do you suppose the going rate is for office space in Gemworld? After seeing how utterly beautiful the magical, crystalline realm is in our new Amethyst miniseries, we're not sure Burbank is still the place for us.

Check out the preview below. Amethyst #1 hits stores on February 26th.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
