There are three people behind the new store, Michael Gwatkin, owner of Asylum.Toys, specialist in toys and collectibles, Lucy Griffiths, owner of Ready Player Two, specialist of tabletop and role-playing games and Ric Owens, owner of From The Ashes Comics, specialist of comic books and literature.

They are promising barista-quality coffee, seating, weekly events such as gaming nights and a book club, and it tied to the local WynterCon. They currently have free snacks, tea, coffee and board games to play over the Christmas period. And here's how to find it from the train station.

Bleeding Cool tries to mark the opening and passing of comics stores. Existing fanbases are likely to make the latter more well known, but please let us know if a comic store is opening or closing in your neighbourhood. Just e-mail richjohnston@bleedingcool.com.
