Fallen Angels #4 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by Bryan Hill and Szymon Kudranski as the book hurtles towards its dramatic… er, indefinite hiatus. We've got a preview below. Let's read it together.
In that preview, we find X-23 trying to make sense of things. Perhaps she's trying to make sense of why all of her character development from the past few years has been abandoned and she's suddenly unable to control her own rage and needs Psylocke to teach her how.
Good luck with that, Laura!
As or Psylocke, she has some criticisms of her own to deliver, not just of this book, but of the Dawn of X and HoXPoX in general.
In fact, she's got some harsh words both for Betsy Braddock, and for all mutants, calling them "figments of Xavier's vision" and claiming Xavier stole their free will. Which would certainly explain why so many people were acting out of character during the event, if the explanation of "Hickman doesn't really care about characterization so long as it serves the plot" wasn't enough for you.
Fallen Angels #4 hits stores on Wednesday.
