Everything The Fantastic Four Knew About Their Origin Was Wrong (Fantastic Four #17 Major Spoilers)

Recent issues of The Fantastic Four, have seen the team revisit their origin, by travelling to the planet they were originally planning to fly to back in Fantastic Four #1, in a version of the ship they were originally going to use, the Marvel-1, before they were hit by the radiation storm that crash their ship back on Earth and left them transformed.

Travelling to the planet in the Marvel-2 in a fit of nostalgia, they have found a planet, who were aware of their original planned trip, and fearful of invasion, transformed themselves wit the same cosmic radiation, into a planet full of superpowered people on one level and monsters on the other. And leading Reed Richards and Susan Storm to do some further investigation as to how the planetary transformation took place.

And the comic book concludes with a major revelation that rewrites the events of The Fantastic Four #1 from 1961 considerably. Consider this their Anatomy Lesson…
