Marvel Comics Closes Its New York Office And Moves… East

The word is out. Marvel Comics is closing its New York office. Bleeding Cool scotched the rumours that Marvel Comics would be moving to the West Coast earlier this year, but suggested they may find other offices in New York. And that is just what's happening. Marvel Comics is closing its offices for two days while it moves one block up… and one block across – a move east by a few hundred metres. No need for a Convergence Band-Aid to cover that, just a couple of days absence in the run-up to Christmas. Nevertheless, comic book creators, give your editors a little break over the next few days. The former offices at 135 W 50th St. NY, NY 11105 was famed for having only one bathroom. I am told that the new offices will have a number. There will, I am sure, be some moving stories from the staff. Here's the first from Senior Editor, Special Projects at Marvel Entertainment, Jen Grunwald.
