"DC Universe Online" Episode 36: Metal Part II Has Been Released

It's been a minute since we've seen a new episode for DC Universe Online, and now we know why, as Episode 36: Metal Part II looks wicked! In Episode 36: Metal Part II, the saga of the Dark Knights, the Dark Multiverse and Metal will come to an explosive conclusion. Thanagar threatens the Earth with the Phoenix Cannon. The dark god Barbatos pulls our world down into the Dark Multiverse. He has waited since the dawn of the universe for this moment, and it seems nothing can stand in his way!

  • Metal Part II is a large-scale episode, with level-agnostic event versions of content available to all players for a limited time.

  • The episode features new and returning Super Heroes and Super-Villains, including the dark god himself, Barbatos.

  • The storyline includes single-player and multiplayer adventures set in locales like the new open-world map of Thanagar.

  • The episode includes new player rewards, featuring new gear inspired by Hawkman and The Dawnbreaker, styles, collections, base items and feats.
