It’s Time for Lois Lane to Put Her Daddy Issues Behind Her in Lois Lane #6 [Preview]

All the best superheroes these days have got serious daddy issues. Batman’s current story arc is culminating in a showdown with his alternate universe daddy who teamed up with Bane to pretty much ruin his entire life. Superman’s daddy took his grandson to outer space and lost him in an alternate dimension where he aged into a teenager, and then Jor-El had to be sentenced to death for crimes against the universe. Aquaman is currently facing off against a villain literally named Sea Daddy. And things are no better over at Marvel, where The Hulk’s daddy is a literal demon and Ironheart’s daddy is a high-ranking member of the Ten Rings.

But eventually, you have to put those daddy issues behind you if you want to move on as a hero, and since she’s starring in her own book, it’s time for Lois Lane to do just that. Of course, her daddy is dead, which makes it easier, the victim of the need to kill off characters for shock value in a super-mega-crossover event. And in Lois Lane #6, we see Lois hold a funeral for her daddy.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
