Image Comics to Publish Beatles Fantasy 'Paul Is Dead: When The Beatles Lost McCartney' In English in April

Just published in France and Italy from Paolo Baron and Ernesto Carbonetti, is a new graphic novel that tells an alternate history of The Beatles – something that seems all the rage these days. But rather than call itself Yesterday like all the others, this is called Paul Est Mort. In English, Paul Is Dead. And in April, it will be published in English by Image Comics. Paul Is Dead: When The Beatles Lost McCartney tells a story behind the conspiracy theory that Paul McCartney died young and was replaced in The Beatles – and in life – by a lookalike. London, November 1966. John Lennon can't speak, he can't take his eyes off a photo of a car in flames with the body of Paul McCartney inside. His friend is no longer there, and that means the Beatles are no longer there, either.
