Thor: The Worthy #1 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, part of Marvel’s 80th-anniversary celebration in which they bring back legendary creators to tell another story set during their most memorable runs. It would be nice if Marvel would give more regular work to some of these people, but we’ll have to take what we can get, we guess.
Just take a look at the lineup for this one-shot.
In a preview of our first story, by Walt Simonson, Mike Hawthorne, Sal Buscema, Tamra Bonvillain, and Tom Workman, we look back on a date between Beta Ray Bill and Sif.
Unfortunately, things go South quickly.
A second tale brings together Tom DeFalco, Tom Frenz, Keith Williams, Rachelle Rosenberg, and Clayton Cowles for a story starring Eric Masterson.
As the Grey Gargoyle looks to advance the cause of science.
And the third story comes from Kathryn Immonen, Tom Reilly, Chris O’Halloran, and Clayton Cowles, set in the Jane Foster Thor days.
As Thor teams up with Lady Sif.
Thor: The Worthy #1 hits stores on Wednesday.
