When There's Something Strange in Your Space Neighborhood, Who You Gonna Call? Avengers #27 [Preview]

Avengers #27 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by Jason Aaron and Ed McGuinness, kicking off the Starbrand Reborn storyline that sees all of Earth's Starbrands shunted off to an alternate reality created by Franklin Richards where Captain America has giant… wait, sorry, that's the plot of Heroes Reborn. This one sees a new wielder of the Starbrand, and we've got a preview below.

The story kicks off six days ago in Shi'ar territory, with Shi'ar Majestor Gladiator in his perpetual bad mood.

Gladiator is called to exercise compassionate leadership on two of his injured soldiers.

Gladiator also gets a chance to dabble in criminal justice when a Brood stowaway is discovered on the ship.

Gladiator then heads off to do some problem solving…

…though he does leave a number to call for backup if he doesn't return.

The Ghostbusters? Avengers #27 hits stores on Wednesday.
