Why is Fallen Angels Missing from Marvel's February Solicitations?

Fans diligently perusing Marvel's February solicitations and comic book "journalists" desperately scanning them for clickbait article material may have noticed the absence of one of Marvel's Dawn of X titles today. Wolverine was added as an ongoing X-series, but though Ol' Two-Dicks will get his solo book in February, Fallen Angels is nowhere to be seen. Does it spell doom for the series? Bleeding Cool can definitively answer: maybe.

Writer Bryan Hill was asked about the subject on Twitter today and responded:

Hill then went on and on about his successful Hollywood career.

We get it, Bryan Hill! Your career is skyrocketing and you are living your dreams!

Hill also thanks fans for helping him to do all of that.

But back to the important matter at hand: Fallen Angels. It seems Hill is taking a planned break due to other commitments, but he does say that there are plans for the story to continue. But then he also notes that it will be "in a very cool way." What does that mean? Not as a comic book? As a podcast? A feature film? Spoken word beat poetry? As a comic book, but a different series? Should we keep asking questions we don't have the answer to until we have fulfilled our minimum word count for this article?

All we know is that there's no Fallen Angels in February, but it hasn't been canceled, and the story will continue in some shape or form, and Bryan Hill's ship has finally come in.

Fallen Angels #6 is out in January.

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
