Government Official Endorses Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo's Suicide Squad

Suicide Squad #1 is coming to stores in December, by Australia's favorite son Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo, and the series isn't just highly anticipated by fans. Suicide Squad has also garnered praise before release from a U.S. government official on Thursday, via a statement released over Twitter.

Of course, we're talking about DC-loving Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia, the country's highest-ranking Snyderbrony (the colloquial term for fans that advocate for the release of the Snyder Cut of Justice League), who once snuck a DC Comics Easter Egg into his city's new civic center. Mayor Garcia responded to a Tweet by Taylor to express advance remorse over the looming deaths of any of the characters.

Taylor responded as the two engaged in an international summit on inclusion.

Taylor agreed.

Suicide Squad #1 is out on December 18th, with final order cutoff coming up on Monday. Below, see the preview that was revealed EX-X-XCLUSIVELY on geometry-themed video game website Polygon.
