Derek Landy and Federico Vicentini Launch New Falcon & Winter Soldier Series at Marvel in February

Marvel's Pull List Podcast is out on YouTube though it's not yet on Marvel.com. When it does hit Marvel's website, we'll get covers and official solicit text, but for now, we have the names and details of a few new series launching in February.

We've already talked about the new Gwen Stacy series by Christos Gage and Todd Nauck, as well as Marvel's confirmation of the Bleeding Cool report that Chip Zdarsky and Terry Dodson will bring us X-Men/Fantastic Four in February. The other new series announced on The Pull List this week is one that achieves corporate cross-branded marketing synergy with Disney's new Disney+ streaming service: Falcon & Winter Soldier, from the creative team of Derek Landy and Federico Vicentini with covers by Dan Mora.

Here's the solicit text as read on the podcast:

We've got an office of dead government agents, a gifted new killer, and two ex-Captain-Americas. When a dramatic attempt on  the life of Bucky Barnes unites him with Sam Wilson, the two old friends are pledged headlong into a race to uncover the new leader of Hydra before a mass casualty event announces the terror group's resurgence to the world. This is bad news. The clock is ticking.

Falcon & Winter Soldier #1 hits stores in February. You can watch Marvel's Pull List podcast below. We'll update this article when a high-res version of the cover is released later.

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
