More Popular Than Spawn #300, Terrific Production LLC Wants to Give Artists Health Insurance

Spawn #300 may have been the most-ordered comic of September, but how important is that metric? According to Terrific Production LLC, the new owners of Youngblood, not nearly as important as the number of Twitter accounts which have interacted with Terrific. Terrific Production LLC’s Twitter account has just 638 followers at the time of this writing, but thanks to the zany antics of the account’s five-person social media team, interaction numbers are way up. Terrific tweeted:

Terrific has still yet to announce creative teams or release dates for their comics including Youngblood, Supreme, Elementals, or Alan Moore. However, thanks to the Donald Trump administration, Terrific says they are exploring the option of offering health insurance to those creative teams once they are announced.

But free healthcare isn’t the only benefit Terrific is offering its artists. They can also get filthy stinking rich if they’d simply draw variant covers for Youngblood.

According to Terrific, they offer the best royalty deals in the entire industry.

And if you’ve got your own intellectual property, Terrific wants to license it.

Who will take them up on their offers? The saga continues…

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.

About News with Benefits

Why let facts get in the way of a good story? News with Benefits is just like the actual news, but more interesting because it’s embellished. Yes, it may feature made-up quotes, wrong assertions, and completely baseless speculation, but in a way, isn’t that more honest than the shameless buttkissing and corporate shillery you often find in the “real” news? Don’t answer that.

News with Benefits was pioneered at toilet-themed comic book news and opinion website TheOuthousers.com, which is sadly now defunct, but its stench lives on thanks to the support of your clicks and outraged comments.
