The Black Crown Party and Philip Bond Gallery Launch at Orbital Comics Last Night

Some thought scheduling the Black Crown party to kick off Philip Bond's gallery of work at Orbital Comics in London alongside the MCM London Comic Con was a mistake. But, instead, it led to a much bigger turnout as dozens of comics creators schlepped across town from the East End Docklands to WC2.

Shelly Bond and Philip Bond were there of course, as well as other Black Crown creators such as Martin Simpson and Allison Sampson, joined by the likes of Kieron Gillen, David Barnett, Mark Buckingham, Rian Hughes, Glyn Dillon,  Ryan O'Sullivan, Alex Paknadel, Ram V, Dan Watters, Sarah Gordon, Dirk Wood, Michael Molcher and more.
