Marvel Extends Immortal Hulk Franchise With Spider-Man, by Tom Taylor and Jorge Molina in January

Immortal Hulk may be one of the greatest comic book runs that Marvel Comics has ever published. What does that mean? Dilution, baby, dilution,

Ahead of the release of their full January solicitations, Marvel Comics has announced a new one-shot comic coming in January from Tom Taylor and Jorge Molina called The Immortal Hulk: Great Power #1. And if you were thinking “this title sounds like Marvel is making Spider-Man a Hulk, you are totally wrong, as this comic will have a really nuanced premise that will cause readers to ponder some of life’s great mysteries. Nah, just kidding, it’s totally Spider-Hulk.

Below, more info from Marvel.com’s press release.

Coming in January, Peter Parker and Bruce Banner collide like never before in IMMORTAL HULK: GREAT POWER #1!

Written by Tom Taylor with art by Jorge Molina, the Hulk is about to find a web-slingin’ new host as the stars of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN and IMMORTAL HULK unite!

When Bruce Banner wakes up in the middle of the night without the Hulk, he thinks he’s finally free. But the Hulk is immortal—and the night’s not over yet.

If you thought he was dangerous in the body of mild-mannered Bruce Banner, wait till you see him now. Peter Parker is a man with the proportional strength and agility of a spider, capable of lifting trains on his bad days… And he’s about to get a big, green power-up—with a temper to match.

Pre-order IMMORTAL HULK: GREAT POWER #1 at your local comic shop today, then pick it up on January 29, 2020!

Hulkverines Are Old News, But What About Spider-Hulk From Tom Taylor and Jorge Molina in January?

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
