DC Unlimited Creates Its Own Virtual Comic Con Before Hallowe'en – Community Week

The DC Unlimited streaming service for TV shows and comic books (that isn't available in this fair and sceptred isle) is going to be putting on a comic book convention that I won't be able to go to either (what's new) as it is virtual and restricted to the service.

A number of companies have tried to create virtual comic book conventions in one way or another. The original Comicon.com from Rick Veitch was an attempt to create an artists alley online. Recently we have had the Comic Con Kick-Off events, streaming comic book creator conversation live to comic book stores with exclusive variants to match.

Well now DC Comics are going to be doing something similar, just for them.

Called Community Week, and running from October 23rd to October 30th, they intend to be bringing content similar to that found at a comic convention to viewers, beginning with a live Q&A with the actor who plays Starfire in Titans, Anna Diop. You know, maybe they'll let some comic book creators onscreen as well…
