Capcom Releases Gameplay Footage Of A "Project Resistance" Match

For those who may be wondering what an actual match of Project Resistance might look like before the demo, Capcom strangely has you covered. The company released a ten-minute video this week showing off a complete match from the perspective of the four young adults trying to survive. The footage, as you'll see below, was given a four-way split so you could see what each player is doing during the time they have spent in the game. But they also go through and identify what individuals are doing so you get a sense of the gameplay. Or at least, how it's supposed to flow if you all have your act together.

One of the interesting aspects of this is that as you progress, you get more time on the timer to complete the next area. One of the big complaints people had who weren't playing is that it seemed everything was running on a forced clock. Which appears to be true, but now we know it isn't a hard time, you can get extensions. It's also interesting to see how the person in charge of all the carnage can place items and creatures about the place and force players deal with certain things along the way. And that view of being in control of Mr. X and seeing how he finds people… man is that terrifying! If you enjoy this footage, closed beta test registration for Project Resistance is now open on PS4 and Xbox One until September 30th.
