Batman Who Laughs Makes His Villainous Kotobukiya Appearance [PREVIEW]

The Batman Who Laughs is back in Gotham City and he is ready to turn the streets red. Ever since his appearance in Dark Nights: Metal, the Batman Who Laughs has shown the dark side of Bruce Wayne. This character is the creation of when Batman killed the Joker’s only to release the Joker’s last laugh. A special toxin inside the Joker body that is released to make sure the Joker never really dies.

Kotobukiya has released a new ARTFX+ statue that allows us to own our own Batman Who Laughs. The details on this statue are uncanny, from the skin that looks real to the expression on his face. He is posed in a way that is just terrifying too like he has something deadly to hide. The flowing cape is a nice effect to give him as well. The statue’s base is the logo from the Dark Nights: Metal comic series. I like this as it pays homage to his original beginnings, something we don’t usually see.

Kotobukiya has marked the Batman Who Laughs 1/6th scale figure for a March 2020 release. He will be priced at around $135 which is usually on target for Kotobukiya statues. Preorders are not live just yet but will be located here.

“You know I am something twisted and wrong, and that terrifies you.”

DC COMICS ELSEWORLD Series BATMAN WHO LAUGHS ARTFX STATUE

From Dark Nights: Metal – Dark Knights Rising which features the seven nightmare Batmen who exude a terrifying aura that is popular amongst fans worldwide, “Batman Who Laughs” joins the ARTFX series and is sculpted to perfectly represent the “Dark Multiverse”.

Batman who has superior intellect, logic, and the physical power to defeat any enemy, has now been turned into a fearful enemy who lacks all morality…

This statue perfectly depicts a figure that should only exist in nightmares, with this Batman who has slowly transformed into a being similar to Joker. From the belt and buckles that can be seen throughout the statue to the spikes poking out of the bat cowl, the twisted nature can be seen from every angle of this statue.
