Luke Skywalker Is Ready for the Death Star with New Kotobukiya Statue

Luke Skywalker is the man that started it all. Mark Hamill's iconic role captivated audiences and started a legacy that no one was expecting to happen. When Star Wars hit theaters in 1977, no one was expecting the phenomenon that it would turn into. The final scene of A New Hope was thrilling, it was full of suspense, friendship and good versus evil. Luke Skywalker takes his X-Wing on the Trench Run mission in the hope to stop the Empire's reign. Kotobukiya is giving us Luke Skywalker in his X-Wing Pilot suit in statue form. The statue is part of the ARTFX+ series so that means that we get interchangeable pieces for Luke. First, we get a secondary head to choose from, we get a helmet on or off option. Then it looks like we get some interchangeable set of arms as well. The arm chooses from are Luke holding his helmet in one hand and his pilot gloves in another or we get a complete set of just gloved hands. This is a cool statue all around, the orange paint of the X-Wing outfit really pops in any setting. Kotobukiya is putting out a great collectible here and he would be a great statue for any Star Wars fans collection.

Luke Skywalker Kotobukiya ARTFX+ statue is priced at around 12,000 Yen which comes to about $111 and he is scheduled for a March 2020 release date. You can preorder him today and located here.

From the hit classic, Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, comes an all-new Luke Skywalker statue!
Luke Skywalker in his X-Wing Pilot suit joins Kotobukiya's ARTFX+ series.

Luke Skywalker, although only a 1/10 scale, perfectly resembles the fine details from the movie despite its small size. Helmet and gloves are also included, to give fans options to display this statue in any manner fans would like.

Line Luke Skywalker up with Kotobukiya's past statues, such as R2-D2 to reenact scenes from the Star Wars universe.
