Matthew Spradlin and Tariq Hassan's Planet 9 from Antarctic Press Cancelled Before Publication

Matthew Spradlin , writer of Bad Kids Got To Hell, The Adventures Of A Comic Girl and Devils, and Tariq Hassan had a new comic book series, Planet 9, planned for Antarctic Press earlier in the year. Four issues were solicited, but it seems that none will now be published.

It was one title from a series of books from the Rok Comics publishing group, relaunched in 2018 by independent comic and graphic novel producer Matt Stacey with an aim to adapt the titles into movies. Rok Comics is a part of ROK Group of Companies, a global network of services and brands including mobile phones, beers, spirits, spring water, games companies, crypto currency and emerging technology.

Here's what was planned… with such a company behind it, and work clearly on the way, might it pop up elsewhere? Maybe as a series of beer bottle labels?

The four alien ambassadors head back to Planet Nine, where they confront a fifth alien and reveal their true plans for Earth. Glenis and Brandon contemplate the aliens' symbolic names and discuss dark visions, while Ron gains insight into the aliens' agenda from the local Hopi Indians.
