King Thor #1 is in stores this week from Marvel Comics, from Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic, the start of the series that will Aaron's long run with the character. We've already seen a wordless preview, but words are better, so here's one below.

And it looks like this story will end as it only ever could have: with Thor and his brother Loki…

…trying to kill the crap out of each other.

Loki is a bit more powerful than the last time Thor has seen him.

And it looks like he will end all life in the universe.

But not before Thor makes him pay for it.
