Former Dreamworks Animation Employees Publish Shapes #1 in Cave Pictures' November 2019 Solicitations
Jason Brubaker was a storyboard artist on movies including Blade, Pitch Black, and Van Helsing, before becoming a visual development artist on the Kung Fu Panda trilogy.
All the time, he kept Brubaker self-publishing his own graphic novels, with his first, reMIND in 2011 winning the Xeric Award. He quit his job at Dreamworks Animation to pursue publishing his own comics full-time. In 2015, he moved back to his hometown of Pocatello, Idaho and has been working on comics ever since.
And in November, he has a new comic book, co-written with fellow-former Dreamworks Chief Creative, Rick Rekedal. Together, they have created Shapes #1 from Cave Pictures Publishing…
