"13 Reasons Why" Season 3: Who DIDN'T Have a Reason to Kill Bryce Walker? [FINAL TRAILER]

A little less than two weeks after Netflix announced that 13 Reasons Why was set to return with 13 episodes on August 23 with an official trailer, the streaming service has released the final trailer for the critically-acclaimed teen drama's third season. We're hoping that the mystery surrounding the murder of Bryce Walker (Justin Prentice) will be enough to help fans forget about the fact that the show's fourth season will be its last – which finds the (remaining) cast graduating from Liberty High (and is expected some time in 2020).

But let's not get ahead of ourselves. There's still a murder to solve – and in the following trailer, it looks like everyone had it in for Bryce:

Eight months after preventing Tyler from committing an unthinkable act at Spring Fling, Clay, Tony, Jessica, Alex, Justin, and Zach find ways to shoulder the burden of the cover-up together while helping Tyler move toward recovery," the logline reads. "But when the aftermath of a tumultuous Homecoming game culminates in the disappearance of a football player, and Clay finds himself under police scrutiny, it's up to a shrewd outsider to steer the group through an investigation that threatens to lay bare everyone's deepest secrets.

Netflix's 13 Reasons Why also stars Timothy Granaderos, Anne Winters, Steven Weber, Brenda Strong, Amy Hargreaves, and Grace Saif. Series creator Brian Yorkey serves as showrunner and executive producer, alongside Mandy Teefey, Kristel Laiblin, Selena Gomez, and Joy Gorman. Paramount Television and Anonymous Content produce.

The news comes two weeks after Netflix and Yorkey announced their decision to edit the realistic depiction of Hannah's (Katherine Langford) suicide – with the streaming giant saying in a statement:

"We've heard from many young people that '13 Reasons Why' encouraged them to start conversations about difficult issues like depression and suicide and get help—often for the first time. As we prepare to launch season three later this summer, we've been mindful about the ongoing debate around the show. So on the advice of medical experts, including Dr. Christine Moutier, Chief Medical Officer at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, we've decided with creator Brian Yorkey and the producers to edit the scene in which Hannah takes her own life from season one."
