Angelblood is Going to Break Kickstarter and Bleeding Cool Readers are Invited to the Beat Down

What's going on everyone. My name is Aaron Ross and I am the founder of Angelblood Publishing and the creator of the table top role-playing game Angelblood. I have been working on reaching THIS point for nearly 15 years and it is exhilerating, and I am so happy to be able to share it with you all.

Let's get to the fun stuff. How are we going to Break Kickstarter?

Between July 15^th and August 15^th of this year Kickstarter is having an event called Break Kickstarter it's something fun where the creators can reinterpret what and how a Kickstarter campaign is run. Pretty cool right? Yeah, but I like, seriously wanna BREAK Kickstarter. But not in a bad way. Hear me out.

Typically, a Kickstarter campaign has a lull or a drop in activity in the middle of the campaign (days 12-24 in a standard 30 day campaign). But this campaign isn't going to do that. Our activity level is going to increase, or at least that's the plan.

We have a reward tier that will be available called the "Ring of Karma" (early bird access and discounts will be available for the first weekend for those interested in participating. Post a comment or send us an email and let us know. We'll add you to the list so we can remind you when we launch.) Those that pledge at that level will have the opportunity of creating a comic short that will be added to back of the featured book .The Angelblood Chronicles of Mystiq. We will be doing live video sessions everyday start at day 10 (8/19) and ending on day 20 (8/29) of the campaign. During these sessions the particpants will work with the creator and have a 5 on 5 PVP (player versus player) style match that will be illustrated during the campaign. We will be posting updates of the illustrations as they are completed and I am expecting it to be a fun experience.

This is where the BLEEDING COOL audience comes in.

We will have a special reward tier labeled simply "Bleeding Cool". The pledge amount will be $1. With that one dollar you all will have the opportunity to have a virtual front row seat and watch these sessions take place LIVE. Pretty cool right? It gets better though. During the sessions I will be asking for audience participation (that's you guys) where you can influence events that are happening inside the Ring of Karma by posting comments during the live video.

These can be things ranging naming the type of battleground they are fighting in, to what kind of monsters we add to the arena. Maybe there is a magical feather duster on top of a mountain and whichever team gets it turns the other team into demonic banana cream pies (it's happened before). Anything is possible. Pretty cool right? It gets even better. If our campaign successfully funds everyone who pledges at the Bleeding Cool level will receive our digital rewards bundle. If we are blessed enough to reach our extended stretch goals we will be increasing the digital rewards available up to and including our Game Changer Cards and a digital copy of our table top role-playing game Angelblood. A bundle the will be valued at $19 during the campaign.
