“Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” Season 2 Heads to South America in Teaser, Key Art [VIDEO]

Fans of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan wanting to know more about the upcoming second-season return of the John Krasinski (A Quiet Place)-starrer have some new intel coming their way from Amazon Prime Video – and it’s not classified. The streamer released a teaser trailer, season overview, and key art promo poster during their Television Critics Association‘s (TCA) summer press event.

In the following teaser, we see that Ryan’s next run takes him to the heart of Venezuela – where illegal arms dealers prove the least of his problems. Facing a presidential-level threat, Ryan will race around the world – as the clock begins ticking once more towards a major global crisis. Joining Krasinski for this season are Wendell Pierce (The Wire), Noomi Rapace (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), and Michael Kelly (House of Cards).

After tracking a potentially suspicious shipment of illegal arms in the Venezuelan jungle, CIA Officer Jack Ryan heads down to South America to investigate. As Jack’s investigation threatens to uncover a far-reaching conspiracy, the President of Venezuela launches a counter-attack that hits home for Jack, leading him and his fellow operatives on a global mission spanning the United States, UK, Russia, and Venezuela to unravel the President’s nefarious plot and bring stability to a country on the brink of chaos.
