Money Shot: Tim Seeley, Sarah Beattie, Rebekah Isaacs, More Make a Space Porno for Vault Comics

Vault Comics has announced its next project, a space porno from writers Tim Seeley and Sarah Beattie, artist Rebekah Isaacs, colorist Michael Russell, and appropriately-named letterer Crank!. Ok, calm down, it turns out the book is not itself a porno, but rather, a sci-fi comic about porno. In particular, space porno.

THR had the EX-X-XCLUSIVE reveal on Money Shot, along with an interview where Seeley explains all of this better than we can:

It's a science fiction epic about a group of underfunded scientist using a porn website that broadcasts their alien sex conquests to fund their research into the depths of the universe. It's supposed to make you laugh, make you a little uncomfortable, make you confront the realities of the modern struggles the scientific community faces as they attempt to innovate and discover.

[It's] about sex. It's about love. It's about the weird overlap between the two, and the occasional lack of overlap. It's about how physical intimacy often leads to emotional intimacy, and how often we wish that weren't true. And it's about coming together to do something for the good of mankind, even when you're dealing with all those complexities.

Money Shot hits stores on October 23rd, and you can see some art from the comic below:
