We already know that Captain Marvel #8 is set to light up the eBays with its first appearance of a new character. But what about the book's star? It seems that Captain Marvel herself is not doing too well as the public turns against her for this storyline, and it doesn't matter how much money her book can fetch from speculators. For in the course of just one week, thanks to fake news, Carol's reputation has been destroyed.

Though we do have to wonder why. They've got recreational pot in Maine, Carol. Toss that whiskey away and pick up some edibles! Though Demon in a Brownie doesn't have the same ring to it, we suppose.
