Kristen Schaal, Holland Taylor Join “Bill & Ted Face the Music”

Bill & Ted Face the Music gets more awesome by the day this time adding Holland Taylor and Kristen Schaal to an already wickedly-loaded cast. Emmy Award-winning Taylor will play The Great Leader, the most powerful person in the universe 700 years in the future, according to Deadline Hollywood, while The Hollywood Reporter has Schaal playing Kelly, a messenger from presumably that same future.

Taylor and Schaal enter San Dimas, California with franchise stars Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves, who play the Wyld Stallyns duo Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted “Theodore” Logan, respectively. Also returning are William Sadler, Amy Stoch, and Hal Landon Jr., who are reprising their roles as Death, Missy, and Ted’s father police chief Chet Logan, respectively.

Dean Parisot takes the directing reins with creators Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon providing the screenplay. Scott Kroop returns to produce Face the Music as he did in the previous entries Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989) and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey (1991). Joining Kroop are Alex Lebovici and Steve Ponce. Executive producing are Steven Soderbergh, R. Scott Reid, John Ryan Jr., Scott Fischer and John Santilli.
