From The Rumor Mill: "The Last Of Us Part II" Will Release February 2020

If you believe the latest rumors, it sounds like we may finally have a release window for The Last Of Us Part II, but there isn't much new to this one. Over the past year or so it's been rumored that we'll see the game sometime in the winter of late 2019 or early 2020. Now those thoughts may be confirmed as a new post on ResetEra shows posts from an insider named ZhugeEX, who is a Senior Analyst at Niko Investors. According to his posts, the game is earmarked for a release on February 2020. What's more, when it is released, there will be four different editions of the game you can choose to get. Those include a Standard Edition, a Special Edition, a Collector's Edition, and something they're calling an "Ellie" Edition.

Now while this source has come through in the past for ResetEra and some of their other rumors and speculation, it is worth noting that the majority of the people involved with the project from Sony Interactive Entertainment and Naughty Dog have commented off-record that they don't even know when The Last Of Us Part II will be released. It seems as if the decision is basically in the hands who whoever is running the corporate/marketing end of things at SIE. Hopefully this leak will kick someone in the side and we'll get some kind of official word on the next livestream Sony does, but that's just wishful thinking.
