Marvel Offers 6 Retailer Exclusive Variants in August and 8 in September

Marvel Comics are making a standard amount of comics out in July and August available for retailer exclusive variant covers. But these days, Marvel Comics is inviting retailers to suggest any other titles that they may want exclusive covers for. Traditionally, Marvel Comics offer anything from 6 to 16 titles for such cover commissions in exchange for retailers ordering three thousand and more copies of a comic book. DC Comics only offers such an opportunity once a month or every two months that dozens of retailers plump for, which Marvel are lucky to get a dozen applications for any of their titles in total. But now, these are being presented as serving suggestions, and comic book retailers are welcome to order off-menu if they wish.

Also available for retailer exclusive variants in September, another 8.

• ABSOLUTE CARNAGE: SYMBIOTE SPIDER-MAN #1 (Order by 7/26)
• THE WEB OF BLACK WIDOW #1 (Order by 7/26)
• ABSOLUTE CARNAGE: SYMBIOTE OF VENGEANCE #1 (Order by 8/2)
