Tencent & Amazon GameOn Partner For "Ring of Elysium" Amazon Cup

Aurora Studio announced this morning that they have come together with Amazon GameOn and Tencent for the first Ring of Elysium Amazon Cup. Starting today and running until August 6th, players can compete in qualifiers to make it to regional championships. The regional finals will take place on August 10th in Europe and August 11th in North America. For both tournaments, there will be a $60k prize pool on the line, but no word yet if there will be a final showdown between Europe and North America. Oh, and did we mention the game is free on Steam, so you basically have a chance to win without paying anything?

Online Qualifiers Start July 2nd

Players in North America and Europe looking to compete in the qualifiers can sign up solo. The Amazon Cup qualifiers will take place between July 2 and August 6. Players who compete in the Amazon Cup qualifiers through the GameOn Tournament Organizer can also win additional rewards like pendant skins, player outfit skins, gaming laptops and more.

Regional Championships with a total Prize Pool of $60,000

Following the five-week qualifiers, the regional finals will take place on Saturday, August 10, in Europe and Sunday, August 11, in North America regions. Players will go head-to-head for a $30,000 prize pool for each respective region with the top team in each region being awarded $15,000. The second place teams will be awarded $10,000 in each region with third place teams being awarded $5,000. Ring of Elysium will also be awarding the teams that finish from 4th – 20th place $200 of in-game currency.
