“Pandora”: The CW Summer Sci-Fi Series Releases Key Art; Premieres July 16th

While The CW viewers will have to wait an additional week before they can launch their eyeballs at upcoming summer sci-fi/action series Pandora, the network’s giving them the series’ key art to help pass the extra time (see below). Executive produced by Mark A. Altman (Castle, The Librarians), Steve Kriozere (NCIS, Necessary Roughness), Thomas P. Vitale, Karine Martin, and Chris Philip, the series is produced by Radioactive Fishtank, Vital Signs Entertainment and Starlings Television.

Filmed in Sofia, Bulgaria, Pandora stars Priscilla Quintana (Polaroid, Traffik) as JAX aka Pandora, Oliver Dench (Technology) as Xander Duvall, Raechelle Banno (Home and Away) as Atria Nine, John Harlan Kim (The Librarians) as Greg Li, Ben Radcliffe (Random) as Ralen, Banita Sandhu (October) as Delaney Pilar, Martin Bobb-Semple (Free Rein) as Thomas James Ross, and Noah Huntley (Free Rein) as Professor Donovan Osborn.

Set in the year 2199, PANDORA is a sci-fi action series about a resourceful young woman who has lost everything but finds a new life at Earth’s Space Training Academy where she and her friends learn to defend the Galaxy from threats, both alien and human. When secrets about the nature of her own identity begin to surface, she must uncover the truth, and whether she will be humanity’s savior or the instrument of its destruction.

Pandora premieres on The CW beginning Tuesday, July 16, at 8 p.m. ET.
