Marvel's House Of X Seed Packets Won't Be In Stores For House Of X…

Bleeding Cool was the first to tell you that Marvel Comics' big promotional idea for the launch of Jonathan Hickman's House Of X and Powers Of X – a bunch of branded giveaway seed packets, tying into the imagery of garden, foliage, trees and the like that pervades the previews of the mutant relaunch from Marvel beginning in July.

However, we also pointed out that these promotional items would not be available outside of the USA due to shipping restrictions on sending seeds across borders.

And now it seems they won't actually be in American stores in time for the 24th of July with the release of House Of X #1, but a week later on the 31st of July – and a week before Powers Of X # is published.

Maybe that will give people a chance to read House Of X #1 first – and get an inkling why Marel think Americans getting a packet of seeds will promote the comic book?

It's certainly gotten it another article on Bleeding Cool…
