Funko Continues its World Domination with a New "Gears POP!" Trailer at E3 2019

This is still one of the weirdest company team-ups but Microsoft shared a look at the new series of animation shorts for Gears POP! to go along with the mobile game that will be released. Here is a summary provided via press release.

"GEARS POP!" (iOS, ANDROID). "Gears POP!" brings together iconic Gears characters in a cute Funko Pop! style. The game is being developed in partnership with Funko (Nasdaq "FNKO") and inspired by the Gears of War vinyl collectible figures. It's the perfect slice of mobile mayhem. Fans can look for more information about "Gears POP!" on @gearspop and can preorder on iOS and Android ahead of launch later this summer.

Brought to you by Xbox and Funko Animation Studios, "Kitten Around with RAAM" is the first in a series of animated shorts starring the characters from Gears POP!

This is still a little weird looking combination but Funko is a brand that very much sells these days and mobile games are still making a goofy amount of money.
