We Got One! Sigourney Weaver Returns as "Ghostbusters" Dana Barrett

As if we weren't already excited for the upcoming Ghostbusters sequel from Jason Reitman, now we're entirely on board. In a recent interview with Parade, Sigourney Weaver dropped word that she is in fact going to reprise her role from the original two films as Dana Barrett.

When asked if she was looking forward to reuniting with at least two of her other original costars, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd, she replied:

It's going to be crazy working with the guys again!

Yes, that's not a lot of depth, but she can't say too much about it yet. However since we'd only heard rumor of her return so far, it's exciting to hear that she's definitely back into the mix.

Reitman co-wrote the script with Monster House director, Gil Kenan.

Ghostbusters will arrive in theaters on July 10, 2020.
