Happening right now live from Disneyland, the official dedication ceremony for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!

Bob Iger kicked things off, and to our much delighted surprise, George Lucas showed up!

“It’s like Star Tours on steroids,” Lucas says of the new land.

Billy Dee Williams showed up, and spoke about being the previous owner of the lovely ship.

And our dear dear Mark Hamill made an appearance, to share that the last time he was in a Disney park with George, was when they first opened Star Tours!

Then, Chewbacca showed up in the cockpit!

He couldn’t get the old girl started though, so someone else came out on stage….Mr.  Harrison Ford!

“Harrison, can you help us out?” Bob Iger asked.

Harrison took a step towards the Falcon, turned to the cameras and said before hitting the ship, “Peter, this one’s for you.”

And that’s when we started crying.
