Mortal Kombat's Ed Boon Teases Fans With Mileena Post

One of the most requested DLC characters fans have been begging the developers to bring back to Mortal Kombat 11 is Mileena, hands down. So far, NetherRealm Studios has seemed content to allow the character to stay dead after being killed off by D'Vorah in Mortal Kombat X. But it hasn't stopped people from demanding the fan-favorite ninja clone of Kitana be brought back from the dead, especially since MK11 messes with multiple timelines and could resurrect her easily. This week, co-creator Ed Boon decided to have some fun with fans and tease them over the idea that they're fully aware people want her to return.

If the leaks about the DLC characters are correct, it seems like the current game only has plans to add six characters. Not like the company couldn't drag in more voice actors for more lines to interact with a new set of characters if they wanted to and add more people as they go. But from a fan perspective, the developers sure seem determined to leave Mileena in the past. At least, for now. If you've seen the ending to MK11, who knows what the future holds from here.
