Marvel Calls out Spider-Man in June with “Too Many Costumes” Variants

Marvel Comics is putting their own most popular superhero, Spider-Man, on blast this June with a series of variant covers calling out the fact that he clearly has too many freaking costumes, a press release revealed Thursday. Most superheroes get by with just one single superhero costume, maybe two, if they need nice one to wear to funerals or something. But Spidey has enough costumes to warrant ten variant covers across select Marvel titles!

Listen, wall-crawler, how many of those costumes spark joy? You gotta Marie Kondo your wardrobe, Spider-dude!

Check out the press release and nine of the variants below.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
