Marvel Calls out Spider-Man in June with "Too Many Costumes" Variants

Marvel Comics is putting their own most popular superhero, Spider-Man, on blast this June with a series of variant covers calling out the fact that he clearly has too many freaking costumes, a press release revealed Thursday. Most superheroes get by with just one single superhero costume, maybe two, if they need nice one to wear to funerals or something. But Spidey has enough costumes to warrant ten variant covers across select Marvel titles!

Listen, wall-crawler, how many of those costumes spark joy? You gotta Marie Kondo your wardrobe, Spider-dude!

This June, Marvel Showcases the Best Suits of Spider-Man!

New York, NY—May 9, 2019— This June, celebrate Spider-Man with a series of variant covers that show off the webslinger in the many epic costumes he's worn over the years, including his stealth suit, symbiote suit, webbing suit, cosmic suit, Fantastic Four suit, and more!
