Fortnite's Volcano Event Destroyed Multiple Map Locations

We hope none of you owned property in Tilted Towers in Fortnite, because after today's volcano event, those homes are no more. The volcano, which has been around since they introduced Season 8, has basically been one giant giveaway that it would be the catalyst to starting Season 9 whenever the developers got around to it. That explosion finally happened today, with the video below from Nexiph showing you the results in case you missed it. Caught in the destruction is the popular area Tilted Towers, which now no longer exists, and also dealt severe damage to Polar Peak, Retail Row, and Greasy Grove. Other areas of the map have chunks of rock and other debris covering the terrain, but for the most part, they're all still intact. Enjoy looking over the land as Season 9 of Fortnite will kick off on May 9th.
