DC's Year Of The Villain #1 is Free on ComiXology Today
DC's Year Of The Villain #1 is twenty-five cents only in comic stores today. There are variant covers that may be bumped up a bit. Either way, it's a good deal for a new comic by Scott Snyder, Jim Cheung, Tomeu Morey, Tom Napolitano, Andrew Amrino, Marie Javins, Brian Bendis, Alex Maleev, Hoshua Reed, Jessica Chen, Mike Cotton, David Cunningham, James Tynion IV and Francis Manapul. All those people and you only pay a quarter.
Unless you buy it digitally on ComiXology and the DC App. Where they don't like to fiddle with small change and, as a result, have made it free.
Not sure just how happy comic stores will be who ordered thousands. But at least they'll be able to flip their variants… the Jim Cheung 1:500 version going from $45 to $60, Artgerm's 1-in-100 cover selling from $10 to $25 and Alex Maleev's 1:250 cover selling for around $15.
