The first game started off with Hunterace going for his Rogue deck while Viper brought out his Warlock deck. Viper had the early advantage as Hunterace didn't have much to play on the board. While Hunterace was trying to find a good combo, Viper was laying in tons of direct damage with not much to do defense wise. It looked like he had it won until Hunterace was able to find the combo he needed and put Viper in peril. Once the cards dropped and he knew he had nothing, Viper conceded the match and gave Hunterace the 1-0 lead. Game two showed both players moving onto their Mage decks, showing both players being a little chippy at the start but Hunterace having the clear advantage at the start. For a while it looked like this would be a landslide, but Viper made a comeback to even the odds and have board control, even without draining any life. After playing a few more character, Hunterace knew the score and returned the concede to tie it up 1-1.

For game three, Hunterace decided to stay with the Mage deck while Viper moved onto his Hunter deck. It feels almost like a broken record considering how the day has gone, but both men chipped away at each other looking for a good opening with some health drained on either side. There was a point where Viper had taken Hunterace down to single digits of health, but Hunterace gained some powerful cards in his hand that could lay waste if played properly. Hunterace went for the kill and took him down to half-life, and once Viper pulled his hand he knew he was done and conceded the match to give Hunterace the 2-1 lead. The fourth match had Hunterace bring out his Shaman deck while Viper stuck with the Hunter. This match had Hunterace's name written all over it… until he got stuck with a band hand for four turns in a row, in which Viper was easily ready to strike. There were chances for Hunterace to make a comeback, but it was all for naught as he had to watch his deck die a slow death for the 2-2 tie.

The final game in the series had Hunterace sticking with Shamen and Viper going Warlock. This was it! If you ever wanted to see a Hearthstone match for a championship go the distance, this was it. Every plan, every counter, every health gain, all the spell cards, and combat strategies, and creature formations you could want out of these two as they dragged out the final match as long as they could. It looked like Viper was on the hunt and ready to finally end his run of bad luck for his first world title, but just as his hope was succeeding, the game alerted us he was almost out of cards. The final three draws were nothing special and the audience knew what was up immediately.  Viper conceded and gave Hunterace the final victory, ending one of the best Hearthstone finals matches of all time with a 3-2 win.

Winner: Hunterace (3-2)
